Character info

Customized version of Capcom’s B.B. Hood character, for MUGEN 1.0; featuring details and moves from a variety of her video game appearances. The gameplay system is a slightly adjusted version of “PotS style”, the gameplay system pioneered by Phantom of the Server, which features gameplay mixed from several different games, including CvS2, KOF, SFA3 and SFIII. The adjusted gameplay for this specific character also takes inspiration from the Darkstalkers-inspired gameplay style of PotS’s Lei-Lei; it thus features several new gameplay elements from Darkstalkers, but also sees the absence of a few standard “PotS style” gameplay elements.

Notes
While dashing, B.B. Hood can cancel into any attack that can be performed while standing. When cancelling into a normal attack, she will retain momentum from the dash (except when cancelling into standing heavy kick), and will always cancel into the far version of any standing normal.
B.B. Hood can jump one additional time at any point during her jump arc (provided she has not attacked yet). If she performs a double jump, she will always turn to face the opponent during any of her air normals.

All punch normals are replacing with an instant Smile & Missile or Happy & Missile move; this effect lasts around 5 seconds. Standing punches result in a high Smile & Missile, while crouching punches result in a low Smile & Missile; jumping punches become Happy & Missile. Punch strength corresponds to the strength of resulting Smile/Happy & Missile move. The instant missile moves will retain dash momentum, in the same way that a standing normal attack would.

This effect can be ended early by repeating the input used to activate the move.

The initial phase of the move is a command grab; the opponent must be hit by this in order for the full version of the move to come out. If the initial grab is unsuccessful, B.B. Hood will instead unleash a relatively low damage spread of projectiles.
