Here's the not long awaited VENOM by Juan Carlos. The problem: he sucks ass.
Let's start first with Juan Carlos' trademark: commands that are ass. To do Venom Web (which is shit, but I'll get on to that later) , you have to do a QCF+A+X motion. To do some crummy ass original super, you press QCF+X+Z. First attack? What the hell? If the opponent hits you first, it's first attack for YOU! And if you hit the opponent, but he blocks, screw that, you also get first attack! You can do a 6 hits combo by crouching and mashing the weak punch button. Oh, and here's a stupid infinite! Press strong punch, and press it again, and again, and again. With proper timing, you can win with perfects! OH YAY! You can only throw with the medium kick/punch buttons, and not with the stronger buttons. Stupid. What's with that hellish auto-recover, when Venom is on the ground after being knocked down? It's awful.
The special moves! The Venom Bite comes out really slow, and will launch your opponent to the air for no apparent reason. The Venom Fang looks like special dog crap. If you do it on air, it creates that water effect that only comes out on the ground version of this move. Unaccurate. Well, the whole move looks unaccurate. If you do it on a super jump, it falls down slow as hell. The web throw looks pretty bad, too. Compared to MvC, it's really slow. If you're close to a thin opponent, and do weak web throw, it'll just go through it. Ha ha ha. "Mordida Venom". What the fuck? This move was useful in MvC because you could button mash it and you'd get like 10 hits, but there's no button mashing here, folks, so this renders the move useless.
The super jump is the worst super jump I've seen in ages. When you're super jumping, you can't move at all. It'll only come out by pressing all three kicks. Yes, only that way, not with good old down, up motion. It won't come out with the launcher either, which means this character has no air combos at all. Even if the readme DOES say that he has air combos. Ahaha, right. Super moves are Venom's super moves. The Venom Web super looks pretty bad. It does too much damage in both Venom and Carnage modes. Oh, and it also takes HALF a powerbar, since it takes a level and gives you half of the level back. SUPERS DO NOT GIVE BACK POWER, JUAN CARLOS. Surprise, surprise, this move is UNBLOCKABLE, and it was blockable in MvC! Which makes Venom pretty fucking cheap. If you finish the opponent with this move, it just doesn't look right. The opponent should be killed with the last hit of this combo. Well, he can get just killed with the first punch. The potrait doesn't come out when the potrait is supposed to come out. That Death Bite also gives you power back. Notice how the superpauses on this one are REALLY fucked up. On this move, there's no superpauses. Yes, the potrait does appear and all, but there's no superpause at all. There's also "Original air combo super". The readme says it makes too much damage, so it takes two levels. Actually, it doesn't take two levels. And it doesn't do too much damage, either. This move only comes out if you're close to the opponent, and if he's not blocking. The readme also says it's an awesome air combo. Even a retarded monkey can do that combo.
Overall, this character sucks. Oh, and he also has stolen code! Yes. Go open venom.cns. Look for "WBJ". Yup, some code is stolen from WBJ, and he's not credited in the readme. This makes you, Juan Carlos, a fucking code stealer. He's so bug-filled he's far from being at 100%. Download him for gameplay that is missing all the BASIC stuff from MvC, and also stolen code.
