Here's a quick guide to make Ravenous-esque sprites for YOUR original character:
Take the sprite of a character of your choice.
Make a palette that changes everthing except for the head and hair black. (You may need to adjust some colors.)
You're done!
So, for those not paying attention, the sprites are a crappy palette swap of Freeman. But more than that - this character
is a crappy edit of a Freeman character. And you know how much I hate code theives.
But first, let's talk about the gameplay. Talk Freeman. Add some stupid fireball moves. Add some lame supers that usually
give you back all the power it took to use them, and that have virtually no charge-up time. You've got Ravenous. Freeman's
QCF+Punch attack now uses a crappy looking axe or knife now - and is coded in such a way that at close range, it can go right
past the opponent and not hit (see screenshot.) And I found a pretty easy infinte - QCB+Y super, wait until all the stupid wind
things dissapear (use KFM's stage so you can see the shadows vanish), then move yourself closer and repeat while the opponent
is still in the air. Since you automatically get back 1 meter of super (which you need for the move) whenever it hits, you can easily
kill your opponent.
Also, why is the "Hadouken" a helper called "Haohshoukouken?" Something tells me a lot of creators had their code stolen for
this mess. Don't encourage code theives - don't download this character. Why this got character of the week at Mugen Guild I will
never understand.
