Well, those few people who know me know that I am a Megaman fanatic. I was happy to hear about another Zero being released, hoping it was going to be better than every other Zero using PSX sprites. How sad I was when I tried this poor attempt.
First, we'll start with the good stuff. Uh, hmm, well, uh, he uses the PSX sprites, which are pretty nice if you're easily impressed. What else is good about this character? Well, uh, I'm not sure. When I find some more good things, I'll think about re-writing this review.
Basically, MHZ is exactly like every other PSX style Zero that has been released in Mugen. Missing states, horribly overpowered moves, tons of infinites, and useless strikers. His "Flame Sword" does 800 damage, depending on how many hits land. The strikers can be called out even if one is already present and attacking. It's missing many, many sprites, especially the knock down and most of the falling. The Giga Explosion can be pulled off an infinite amount of times, without draining the Super Bar.
So, what you have here is a kind of Zero that has been seen many times before. You'd think most people would learn from the mistakes of others, but I guess not. I'd continue further with this review, but fortunately, my head has a date with my wall.
