I'm going to start off by stating that as this game is
not currently playable in a format where I could check
things as easily, I won't be able to critize things such
as the character not having accurate clsn and axis, as
at this time, I can't really check those things. What
I can tell you is that evem without those things, this
character is still complete crap at this point in time
for the reasons I will now illustrate:
For starters, ignoring the lack of a method to get proper
clsn, it still doesn't excuse the shoddy job done on it.
There is clearly enough examples out there that the creator
could have referenced in order to make some better judgement.
It varies from being too broad to being too specific from
anim to anim. These proves to be a problem later on.
Next, the creator took the liberties of replacing what
may be considered a slightly shaky system with one that
is quite worse; a bastardized version of the Capcom Vs
series. Light attacks chain in into other light attacks,
light into heavy, and heavy into light. The latter can
be used with the kicks alone to set up an infitite combo
with only standing basics. Just continue to mash those
two buttons, and if one contacts, you have virtually won.
Mix and match the punching and kicking basics to get a
constistant 4-5+ hits. Not very good.
Hitsparks? Mostly unaligned. Damage values? Quite questionable.
Sound? None, but as debug isn't available at this time,
this one is at least somewhat understandable. Crappy use
of clsn has no excuse, much like the mismatch of a combo
system that was given to Malin. In the case, the best
amount of change from the original should be none.
Edit: After looking up a few things, I ended up finding
Malin's sounds within minutes. Considering the lack of
effort required for that much, the author should have
at least included the voice files as they are available.
A sign of laziness by Meta Gouki.
