Kenshin Himura
made by Warner

Once again, someone tries to make a character based on the popular anime series "Rurouni Kenshin," or, as some unlucky viewers know it, "SAMURAI X." Anyway, for once, this isn't stolen from the horrible baiken edit by some japanese guy - at least, graphic wise. God knows when it comes to the moves.

Let's start with the graphics - well, for one thing, they're no longer shitty Baiken edits. They're at least mildly original, in that they don't appear immedietly to be edits. Shame that there's so few, and the moves that use them are so badly coded. The sounds are of varying volumes and qualities, and are all ripped from the show. Nothing special there.

The moves are hilariously bad. Inconsistant button choices, pointless or otherwise badly coded moves... this character is really funny in action. Here's my favorite move: Jump, QCB+B or Z. If you hit correctly, you can get KFM stuck in a custom state where he cannot attack or anything until he is hit again. awesome.

And then there's the CLSN boxes. What the FUCK happened here, Warner? Were you totally drunk or something? Did you steal some random character's air file? What? I haven't seen CLSN this bad since Silent Storm's Silent Storm. I just don't GET how people can make CLSNs this BAD.

I nearly forgot to mention the striker, which takes 1 meter to do. If you do it quickly, though, you can call him (using QCF+C) up to three times while he's still on screen. Awesome.

Anyway, this character just stinks overall. Period. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Pros and Cons
+ He did TRY with the sprites.
+ Hilarious.
- The sounds vary in volume and quality. A lot.
- The sprites still aren't very good.
- What the FUCK is up with the CLSN boxes?
- What the fuck is up with the coding, period?

Overall Score: 9
I gave him a point for the crappy, but still somewhat original sprites.
