First, I'll just say that this review is in no way influenced by my relationship with Shinaku. Now, Jackie is ripped from an old, old, old NES game that nobody has ever heard of, or cares about. But don't let that discourage you yet. Read on!
I'll start with the bad stuff first. Jackie is missing a few required sprites and goes into an invalid state during the intro. These are probably the biggest flaws with Jackie, and that's a good thing.
Jackie is incredibly fun to use, despite his shotokan-esque moves. His special moves are very well done and his supers are amazing, almost beyond what could be expected from a character made from an NES game. His striker is....unique, and makes me wonder if Shinaku is alright in the head. The sounds used for Jackie add to the overall feel of the character.
If you can get past the minor bugs and overlook the shotokan influience, you should have a pretty fun time with Jackie.
