Gato is a character by Jango, who commissioned me to do the sprites. I beta-tested but that's about all the influence I had on the character's coding. So full credit to Jango! This is another special/boss-type character: not many animations but it requires you to take a different approach in fighting him. Gato has his most famous attacks from Chrono Trigger: The belly boxing glove attack, and ofcourse, his powerful singing-voice!!
